Levenhowe Residents Association
Notice for Residents of Levenhowe Road and Levenhowe Place
Monday 31st August 2026
Dear Residents of Levenhowe Road and Levenhowe Place,
Levenhowe Residents Association would like to invite everyone living in Levenhowe Road and Levenhowe Place to a residents’ meeting on Monday 7 September 2026 at 7.00 pm at Vale of Leven Golf Club.
This meeting is an opportunity for all residents to hear updates, ask questions, and share views about the issues and priorities that matter most to the local community.
At the meeting, we will provide an update on what is happening regarding flood protection for Levenhowe Road and Levenhowe Place, including the current position with West Dunbartonshire Council.
We will also explain how the £10 monthly standing order contribution is being spent. This contribution is kindly supplied by around 85% of residents in Levenhowe Road and Levenhowe Place, and it helps the Association carry out improvements for the benefit of the estate. The monthly standing order also pays for the grass to be cut in the estate, which accounts for around 40% of the yearly funds raised. At present, residents also pay £50 a year to Ewan from 20 Levenhowe Place.
Recent work supported by the Association includes planting the trees at the entrance to the estate and painting the fence in front of the houses at Levenhowe Place.
We are now looking for ideas about what residents would like the Association to focus on next. It is important that as many people as possible attend the meeting, so everyone has the chance to give their point of view and help shape future priorities for the estate.
We hope residents will come along on Monday 7 September. Your views are important, and the Association would be pleased to see as many people there as possible.
If you need a lift to the meeting, please contact Denis on 07803 886 735 or Alan on 07811 287 483. You can also contact Denis or Alan if you wish to join the residents’ WhatsApp group.
